Scenery/artistic design/lighting
For this Production, Mike has sketched some designs that will work on the small, unraked, fly -free, and un-curtained stage of Creswick's Courthouse theatre. That's quite a commission! It may be instructive to the reader to learn about the process of actually posting these designs here. After recieving the copyright holder's permission, (Mike); I had to download the pdfs he sent and then download a pdf reader to see them. Adobe. Then I saw they were in need of converting into jpeg files, so weebly's gallery could accept them. This I did through the online conversion service Zanzar, here's the link: Zamzar. Once made into jpegs, I had to load them into ipicci so I could edit the drawings. Here's their link: ipicci This involved a little cropping (for smudges), and rotating the images by 90 degrees. (portrait to landscape). Finally I then downloaded into Weebly's editer to post. Such is IT in the 21st Century !

An example of periaktoi in use on a stage, that may suit more traditional stagings than Creswick's. Here the Periaktoi (as used by the ancient Athenians themselves), type scenery idea I originally concieved the show employing may be one way to execute the multitude of scene changes that happen during the story.
