Hello again Dreamers. Well we open in a week's time and tickets have been sold. Here's some updates:
I have provided a template to Meg (SM), and Jacinta (PM), that has been expanded to include all the necessary stage set-ups. Many difficulties here had to be overcome, (or at least managed), especially in light of the design of the courthouse theatre. (Which was never designed to be used for any purpose other than dispensing justice...Mmm maybe not much has changed?.
Yes, the public will soon get to judge each person's involvement in the prosecution of the show, and the commitment of each participant in it. Will we each be judged kindly? Harshly? or perhaps Justly? I would settle for the latter.
Niklas (acting MD), has briefed Steve (Lights), to operate the special sound effects in the show. These include a fanfare (Written and played by me and recorded on my tablet), Gongs and a Glockenspiel. (Each are linked.) Steve will now organise these into their playing order, and control them from the balcony.(See previously posted pictures).
Steve has also been busy (as has Jacinta), in producing the show's program. When I can, I will post up a copy for the archives. There will also be a video made of the show by Steve for the CTC archives, and he assures me that this will remain offline. So you had better buy your tickets now!
Our next to last rehearsal will be on Sunday at 5:30p.m. Arrive early if you can. Consider this as a full dress rehearsal.
Finally, if you are a show queen, you might enjoy the Tony's I've just posted elsewhere on this site,(Here's the link:Tony's) that give a glimpse of an era as vanished as it is missed. Thanks, See you all there, Gary
