Hello Dreamers, Sarah will no longer be involved with this production, and Ellen Scott will be playing Puck. Welcome Ellen !
Mary assures us that she is on the mend from her illness, and we hope for her speedy recovery.
Meanwhile Mick has been busy putting together the set, that will be finished over the next two weeks. Please help clear the stage and help tidy up when you arrive early for rehearsals. You should do your utmost to be available to walk on stage at 7:30. Please be careful lifting , and ask for assistance if lifting items around stage. Also be careful of your feet, as they're the only thing that can hold you up during performance!
The costumes are coming along very well, and I suggest you annotate your script carefully to work out your many changes you will be doing during the performances. Once we are really running through the show smoothly, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone inhabit their costume with their character's posture, walk, and gestures. Footwear is always problematic in period pieces like this show, so please consider sandles now, before it is too late.
I have had a lot of fun this past week constructing props for the show, and I hope you all enjoy using them. Please take special care of them, as many involved a great deal of effort to make. The small items are best stowed in the boxes provided, and the larger one's should be carefully organised on the tables in the back room.
Promoting a show is never easy, but all cast should by now have downloaded posters from this site, and put them up wherever you think they will catch the public's eye. You should all have one on your back window!
New script edition out today, check you e-mail please. Thanks, Gary
